EJC 2019

In 2019 the 42nd European Juggling Convention – a festival, annually voluntarily organized in different countries since 1978 – took place in the small town of Newark in the county of Nottinghamshire. A year earlier, I started a portrait series like this one at the 41st EJC on the Azores. Capturing those series shows the diversity of the participants and also how the various locations in different parts of Europe can impact the overall festival atmosphere.
